In the spirit of our motto “come up to slow down”, we turned our Hotel BERGEBLICK into a peaceful haven above the roofs of Bad Tölz, where you can relax and unwind to the fullest. You don’t even have to cross the threshold to feel that. The architecture itself already gives you an idea of what to expect: Space, freedom, authenticity. Here you’ll live in and with nature. And we run our hotel following this philosophy. Our own solar power system, a wood-chip heating system fuelled by local wood waste, chlorine-free natural swimming pools, and no air conditioning: responsibility guides our day-to-day actions – not because it’s trendy, but because it’s part of our values. And has been since the very beginning.

We bring nature directly into our hotel thanks to large panoramic windows, minimalistic design, and plenty of wood, and give the Bavarian Alpine lifestyle a modern touch. Where possible, we’ve even consciously left out walls, doors, and visual borders – like in our meditation house, the SENSES Sundowner lounge, and the outdoor SPA – and replaced them with the amazing freedom to look wherever you feel like. And the view of the mountains and the forest is always included.
